It is used as a skim-coat to fill and repair cracks, smaller holes, surface blemishes or other surface imperfections. Remove any crumbling plaster. Apply SKIM COAT with a trowel or scraper into cracks. Leave to dry and sand smooth. (for a smooth surface, fine sandpaper +/- 140# should be used) Ceiling board surface: Surface must be clean and dry. Apply SKIM COAT with a trowel or scraper. Leave to dry and sand smooth. (for a smooth surface, fine sandpaper +/- 140# should be used) Previously coated* surface in good condition Sand down glossy surfaces. Make sure surface is clean and dry. Proceed as for new surface. Previously coated* surface in poor condition Remove existing paint and proceed as above. As topcoat apply two coats of Peralin Paints products such as: PVA Grade 1 (MEAG) or PVA Grade 2 (MEL) or PVA Grade 3 (MEO) or PVA All In One (MEK) or Ceiling Paint (MEZ-1) or Medium Tex (MET) or Pera Fine Tex (EH) or Pera Micro Tex (ER) directly onto dry surface.
