Peralin Paints History
Back in 1962 the Rattay and Pesch family started Peralin Paints in the backyard of the Aris Hotel, 20km south of Windhoek. White marble served as a raw material for the company’s first commercial products PeraShine (Terroline) and Terrazzo.
With the production line moved to Gochaganas in 1966, Peralin Paints extended their product line with the cement additive PeraFix, the texture coating PeraRoll and the roof coating PeraCoolRoof.
Today, after 54 years, Peralin Paints is still a fully Namibian owned family business and has become Namibia’s leading and most diversified manufacturer of premium quality PVA paints, texture coatings and plasters, roof coatings and special coatings. The company’s production facilities still resides at Gochaganas, utilizing it’s own quarry, with three sales outlets in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Ongwediva, as well as a distribution depot in Walvis Bay.
